ok, i give up...
i've had my eye on all the construction at mcdonalds for awhile now, and i pretty much have everything figured out except those steel beams they stuck in the ground right in front that dont appear to have anything to do with anything.
i bet jeff noble has the scoop on this, but anybody that knows, clue me in...

Actually, this info was on MonticelloLive a couple of weeks ago. Seems like this new additon is going to be a 'high-tech' lounge area, complete with video games, big screen tvs, etc. Somewhere on ML you can find the article.
well, i understand the new part they added on that's actually CONNECTED to the old building, but the steel beams dont seem to do anything (so far) and dont go with the rest of the architecture of the existing sructure... they dont even line up with the roof line that they're extending.
Who knows! We gotta remember, we're in Monticello!
Oh I know I know! It's going to be a huge billboard showcasing the new $6 million 3000 seat commmunity center!

i wonder how many people they could seat in that spec building east of town. with a few modifications and some more parking, that might make a really sweet community center. nowhere near 3,000? what would bring 3,000 people to monticello at one time anyway??
